James Shinas' 7ECA Citabria and Sonex
James 7ECA Citabria (Sold fall 2010). The aircraft was updated
last year at American Champion with new aluminum spar
wings, new lift struts, larger fuel tanks, 100# increase in gross
weight, new horizontal stabs, recovered elevator and refinished
top on fuselage. This is one nice 7ECA!
James and his dad, Jim, are building this Sonex. It should be
moving to LAM soon and will be getting a 3300
Jabaru mounted up front for propulsion.
February 2011 - The Jabaru is now mounted to the airframe.
January 2012 north of Espanola. The plane was issued it's
Airworthiness Certificate in July 2011.
